Description
This project aims to identify mechanisms underlying IL-1-mediated regulation of vasculitis and aneurysm formation, focusing on sex differences, to develop new therapeutic approaches in Kawasaki Disease, which causes systemic vasculitis and can lead to coronary artery aneurysms. The study investigates immune-stromal interactions and sex differences in KD pathogenesis using murine models.
