The award supports research to develop and validate individualized DNA junction assays as liquid biopsy biomarkers for monitoring glioma response, using CSF and plasma samples, including evaluation during CAR T therapy.

Description

This project aims to develop minimally invasive, patient-specific liquid biopsy biomarkers for glioma monitoring, utilizing cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and plasma samples, and evaluating in the context of standard therapy and chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR T) trials. The study focuses on establishing and validating DNA junction assays in longitudinal CSF samples as a candidate monitoring biomarker during standard-of-care therapy and in a trial of CAR T therapy for glioma patients.
