-Diagnose/ Engine Overheating Unit 7419, T A86 was taken to Cumberland to troubleshoot issues due to engine overheating. It was determined by the vendor that the unit needs to have the air compressor & water pump replaced along with other related parts. Unit is currently out of service until these repairs are completed.; -Computer Hook Up for testing; -Diagnose/ Air Pressure Slow Build; -Parts/ Air Compressor, 45 Deg Fittings, drain valves & gaskets -Parts include freight; -Parts/ Nox Sensor Assembly, 12 Volt w/wrap (I/S) Part above includes a core charge of S317.69 that may be credited when replaced.; -Parts/ Sensor, Nitrogen Oxide (1/S) Part includes a core charge of S317.69 that may be credited when replaced.; -labor & Parts/ Replace Air Dryer Cartridge; -Labor & Parts/ Replace Water Pump; -1] Labor/ Roadtest to verify repairs; -Shop Supplies -Work to be performed at the Vendor's Location. -Inspection and/or disassemble to determine the cost of repairing the issues that caused engine overheating n land air leaks on Unit 7419, Tanker 86. If the repair cost is reasonable and the total cost does not exceed the mandatory bid limit, the representative of the County may direct the vendor to proceed with the repairs and concurrently issue a requisition for the services. If the County representative determines that the cost is not reasonable and is unable to negotiate a reasonable cost, the County representative shall instruct the vendor to re-assemble the equipment and a requisition will be entered for this service and any related costs. -If the cost exceeds the mandatory bid limit, the County representative may submit a Sole Source justification for the repairs to be completed by the vendor if the competition is not a reasonable option.
