Description

This project aims to develop an immunotherapy platform using protein delivery strategies to treat autoimmune conditions, food allergies, and immunogenicity against therapeutic proteins. The research focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of oral delivery and tolerance mediated by lyso-phosphatidylserine (lysoPS) based nanoparticles. The goal is to elucidate how biophysical properties of lipidic particles influence immune responses, receptor interactions, and cellular uptake, ultimately leading to clinical strategies to reduce immunogenicity and autoimmunity.
