Description

Oxygen is used year-round to ensure oxygen demands are met for rearing approximately 500,000 Rainbow Trout. The Nampa Fish Hatchery has recently been redesigned, and the addition of this oxygen system is required to ensure production of healthy fish. The use of oxygen injection allows precise adjustment to dissolved oxygen levels. This requires the bulk tank and is currently the most efficient means of augmenting the available oxygen in the water supply to provide the public with the same level of service the Nampa Fish Hatchery has provided for the past 40+ years.
