Description

This project is a collaboration between SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (Brooklyn, NY), the University of Ibadan (Ibadan, Nigeria), and the University of the West Indies (St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago). It aims to examine differences in clinical presentation, health outcomes, and treatment responses among patients with psychotic disorders worldwide, emphasizing the Global South. The study includes whole genome sequencing on all participants and comparative analyses with US-based and international studies. It supports trainees and expands research infrastructure at participating institutions.
