Description
The Miami MACS-WIHS will recruit 500 men and women with HIV and at risk for HIV who are representative of the Miami HIV epidemic. Data obtained will contribute to a greater understanding of the clinical and behavioral outcomes of HIV related comorbidities and health care disparities. The project aims to explore cardiovascular outcomes, HIV progression, microbiome effects, comorbidities, psychosocial factors, and substance use impacts on health outcomes in HIV-positive populations.
