It tests the effects of timing and chronicity of adversity on cognitive, neurobiological, and epigenetic markers, and explores how positive early caregiving moderates these effects. The study employs a prospective multilevel design, integrating neurobiological, behavioral, and genetic data to understand mechanisms underlying aging and the influence of social relationships.
