Research project to study how infants coordinate eye alignment and focus, aiming to prevent strabismus and amblyopia by understanding typical and atypical visual development.

Description

The goal of the proposed research is to understand how infants and young children are able to focus and align their eyes despite the immaturities in their vision, and how clinical conditions can disrupt this coordination. These studies are designed to understand typical and atypical development with the goal of improving clinical care and the prevention of strabismus and amblyopia.
